Pueblo, CO (January 23, 2020) – American Bucking Bull Inc. (ABBI) will bring back the two-year-old Futurity Series exclusive to the first 100 bulls on a first come, first serve basis. This year, the No Bull Left Behind (NBLB) Series has been added alongside the Futurity Series, for two-year-old bulls with lifetime earnings of $1,000 or less at the time of the naming date of March 9th. This is another 100 spot series filled on a first come, first serve basis. All bulls must pick one series to compete in, they cannot participate in both.
“The last two years have been a success with the Futurity Series, and I believe including the new No Bull Left Behind Series will allow more bulls to participate and earn a check.” said Jay Daugherty, ABBI President. “We are thankful to the Stock Contractors that have really gotten behind these types of events and made them what they are. It really helps everyone have more opportunities to participate which in turn allows more chances to win.”
There will be three mandatory regular season events, each with a mandatory $300 side pot entry fee for the Futurity Series and $200 side pot for the NBLB Series. Both Futurity Series and No Bull Left Behind Series bulls are required to compete in either the Regular Futurity event or the Limited Futurity at each stop. These side pot events will determine which bulls will go in the winner payout and the non-winner payout during the Finale.
In June, there will be a finale event held at the White Oak Arena in Vinita, Oklahoma, with a $300,000 payout as long as all 100 competition spots are filled. All payouts will be based on how many total bulls have been entered. The Top 10 spots will be paid out in both the Money Winner Finale Payout and the Non-Money Winner Finale Payout.

The buy-in is $3,000 with the first payment of $1,500 due by February 12 and the second payment of $1,500 due by May 13. All competing calves must be named and submitted to the office by March 2nd through March 9th.
The first mandatory event will be at Belton, Texas in March, followed by the second event in Stephenville, Texas in April and the third mandatory event taking place in Decatur, Texas.
To qualify for the Finale, all bulls are required to compete at all three events unless injury occurs.

100 current two-year-old bulls will have a chance at competing in the 2020 Futurity Series as well as an additional 100 spots for two-year-old bulls in the No Bull Left Behind Series, on a first come, first serve basis. Spots will be open from Thursday, January 23rd to Tuesday, January 4th at 12 pm NOON MT. Anyone interested in entering a bull, call Rebecca at (719) 242-2747 ext. 3323 to reserve your spot.
Once you have committed to a spot you are obligated for the entire payment regardless of injury or if the bull has deceased. Once the bulls have been named there will be no changes or substitutes. If a bull is injured and cannot compete at any of the designated stops, you are still required to pay the $300 side pot fee to keep the pot whole. You will also not be eligible for the non-winner pot at the finale if the bull is able to then compete regardless of your placing at any of the events and the bull will have to compete in the winner pot during the finale.
